What did you do to better your photography skills?

I really took a different editing style and started trying to better my composition. Gear never really helped, but after making a bunch of different mistakes, I knew how to fix them and I want to keep doing that!

What is one piece of advice you would give to a new photographer to help them excel in their craft?

Reach out to other photographers for help! I feel like everyone copies other people now and it's fine to do that when you're first starting, but sooner or later you'll have to develop your own style. If you never do that, well, it's sink or swim.
